Purpose and objectives: Purpose: It is very important for constant communication to take place between the students and the instructor/facilitator of a face-to-face or online course. Objectives: TwitCast provides a way for both the students and the instructor to share up-to-date information with the class from any venue by way of laptop, tablet, or smart phone. TwitCast also provides a great way for administrators to share with faculty, staff, parents, community, and students.
Outline: What is TwitCasting? - 5 minutes How to use TwitCast - 7 minutes Educational uses of TwitCast - 12 minutes Question & Answer - 6 minutes; Dr. Tatom will be conducting a live TwitCast during the session. Participants will have the opportunity of viewing the TwitCast via their devices along with interacting via the hashtag #ISTE2015.
